The Carmelites

Province Of The Most Pure Heart Of Mary

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

The Carmelite Friars promote devotion to their patroness, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, by leading prayers to her after the 8:30 A.M. and 12:00 Noon Masses every Saturday.

Priest: O God come to my assistance.

All: O Lord, make haste to help me.

All: Hail Mary, Full of Grace….

Priest: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

All: As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.

All: All gracious God, may the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Carmel, protect us and bring us to your Holy Mountain, Christ our Lord. Under her protection you call us not only to be your servants, but also your children. We ask you to gain for us, from your Son, the grace to live as children in joy, peace and love. O God, make us as humble and obedient as Mary, that our lives, like hers, may be filled with grace and love. Pour into our hearts your grace and help us to be Christ bearers, as Mary was. Help us also to hold and share the wonder of Divine truth and life.

All: O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist us in our necessity. O Guiding Star, help us and show us that you are our Mother. O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of heaven and earth, we humbly beseech you from the bottom of our hearts to help us in our needs, especially for these things which we now pray.

(pause to mention your intention)

We turn to you for protection, Holy Mother of God. Listen to our prayers and help us in our needs. Save us from every danger, glorious and Blessed Virgin.

Priest: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. All: Pray for us.

Priest: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit

All: As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever.
